The Park Ridge Jewel Food Store on Busse at Greenwood was a site Dec. 4 for the Maine Township Holiday Food Drive. Officials, staff and volunteers were on hand here and also in Des Plaines at the Shop and Save collecting food and monetary donations. Supervisor Carol Teschky, Clerk Gary K. Warner (also President of the PR Citizens Patrol), Volunteer Michelle Jonas, Volunteer Jim Coursey, Assistant to the Supervisor Doriene Prorak, and Volunteer Dagmar Rutzen. The volunteers were from the Office of Emergency Management under the Direction of Bob Cohen. The drive effort will be repeated Saturday, Dec. 11 at the same locations.
