The snow fell and it was beautiful! I loved being inside and cooking while the blizzard raged outside! Thank you to everyone who plowed, shoveled, and otherwise made it safer for the rest of us! I thought the City’s communications were great – and when they recommended we stay off the streets, I listened! Hope you did too and everyone survived it intact!

Well, aside from the Blizzard of 2011, we also had our North Suburban Young Professionals Networking Event which was the pre-SuperBowl party; the EKG meeting at Regus with Jim Cone, WSI, speaking about using Google for your business; the Membership Committee met and the 5th Annual Chicago Wolves Hockey Dinner occurred last Saturday!
On Tuesday just before the Blizzard, I judged a high school DECA competition for the 3rd year in a row along with Chamber members Joe Campagna (Grant Merchant Services), Susan Frangos (Higher Level Wellness) and Eric Nelson (Nelson Automotive). Always a good time – we each judged 14 to 15, depending upon the category. Thanks, Joe, Sue and Eric for helping out – they always need judges each year so let me know if you want to be on the list for next year. Just another way the Chamber works with our schools!
