Affresco Park Ridge is having a Father’s Day BBQ Brunch and Evening Cookout from 10am-9pm! (June 19th)

The Wauconda Area Chamber has received notice that Edward M. Zapencki from Fun Treasure Maps has been soliciting false advertisements from Wauconda businesses this past week! Zapencki has various violations and fines for false advertising and misleading Illinois and Wisconsin business owners. Please pass this message on!

A Park Ridge Executive Network special event

7th Annual Odyssey Cruise is a Success!
Maine Center’s 7th Annual Odyssey Cruise on Sunday, June 12 was another successful fundraiser. Here, l to r, among the participants were Maine Center Director Dick Larsen (partner in Larsen & Edlund), Karen Larsen (owner of Generation Connection), Kathleen Barton (Principal of St. Juliana School in Edison Park), and Dick Barton, (Chief Operating Officer of Barton & Barton Ltd.). About 200 guests enjoyed great weather, skyline views of the Chicago lakefront, and gourmet food.

Ashlyne Huff, an engaging new pop music artist and performer will be on tour at the United Center with Back Street Boys and New Kids On The Block June 17th and 18th. American Heroes Kiddie Parade
Come have a great time at the 55th Annual Kiwanis Club Kiddie Parade which has the theme American Heroes this year. The parade will begin around 9:15am on Monday, July 4th at Hodges Park at Prospect Ave. and Vine St. (Register beginning at 8:45am) Decorate yourself, your bikes, wagons, pets, etc. Entries will be judged and ribbons awarded, with special consideration given to entries made by the children themselves. Ribbons will be awarded in the following categories: best individual, best group, and top three in each of the following age groups - preschool and kindergarten, first and second grade, third and fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade, and seventh and eighth grade. 17th Annual Garden Walk
The Park Ridge Garden Club will hold their 17th annual Garden Walk on Sunday, July 17, 2pm-6pm. Seven beautiful local Park Ridge gardens will be featured on the walk. Park Ridge Art Heritage Tours
Karen Larsen will be the docent for Park Ridge art heritage tours which begin Saturday, June 25, and continue the last Saturday and Sunday of the month through September 25. The two-hour tours will run from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sundays and depart from The Summit of Uptown which is providing transportation. Tickets are $15.
