Eric Nelson, Nelson Automotive, gave a challenge to the Park Ridge Community Fund – he’ll match all donations between now and year end up to a maximum of $7,000!!! So, please remember those in Park Ridge as you give your final donations for the year – it’s a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization and it gave $80,000 to more than 20 organizations that service Park Ridge this year. The Park Ridge Indian Scouts Foundation is hosting the Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale from November 26-December 23 at the Community Center located on Touhy and Western in Park Ridge. Open weekdays 4:30pm-9pm and weekends from 10am-9pm. All proceeds support local charities.

MRRO (Most Reliable Remodelers Organization) has announced its Official Spring MRRO Home Remodeling Expo that will be held January 25th- 29th, 2012 at Skokie Village Crossing, 7011 North Central Ave, Skokie, IL 60077 (formerly CompUSA- a 34,000 sq.ft building – next door to Dick’s Sporting Goods. Located in a very busy shopping mall and a convenient two story parking garage with more than 600 parking spaces and outside parking is also available).
MRRO partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to sell raffle tickets at the MRRO Expo event and other locations.
The MRRO Car Raffle Grand Prize is a choice of a brand new car (a Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Cadillac) or $50,000 in cash. The second prize will be a cash prize of $10,000 and third prizes will be the sum of $1,000 each with 10 raffle ticket holders totaling $10,000. A total of 2,500 tickets will be sold at a price of $100.00 per ticket. These three new cars will be displayed and raffle tickets will be sold at the MRRO Expo location.
