Riggio’s Restaurant will be hosting the upcoming monthly networking luncheon (July 13, Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm) You have devoted enormous amounts of time, energy and money in building and maintaining your business. But what happens if the unthinkable occurs? What happens if you die or become disabled? This is obviously not a fun topic but one that, as a professional, you need to address. A Manufacturing Expo will be held at Oakton Community College on August 10, 2011 from 9am-1pm. Seminars will be broken into two parts from 9am-11am and 11am-1pm. Each seminar should be roughly 20 minutes in length and will cover topics such as interview skills, dress code for interviews, and resumes. If you have any questions and are interested in speaking for a seminar, please feel free to call Janie at 847-656-5414. Let her know what topics you would be able to present and names of anyone who might be able to attend. (2-3 individuals from your organization are requested)

The City of Park Ridge, the Park Ridge Garden Club and the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring a Beautification Awards Program for all residents in the City of Park Ridge. Judging will be done by an independent non-biased committee and will be done on the street view portion of the property only. If interested in entering, print out application here!
Last year, Chamber members generously gave gift certificates because the City cut the $100 awards out of the budget. If you’re able to donate gift certificates, please drop them off (10 awards so 10 gift certificates please).
