Flood Assessment Form Due Tomorrow
-Fill Out Online Flood Assessment Forms are Available Online
The City of Park Ridge is compiling information for flood assessment. This information is requested now that the Mayor has declared a community-wide emergency. Residents who experienced damage as a result of the July 23 storm are asked to complete a Flood Assessment Form by noon this Friday, July 29. Forms received after that date will also be submitted to the County. Please note that no funds have been allocated at this time for reimbursement of flood damages. If a state or federal determination is made that this flood event qualifies for reimbursement, the City will make information available to the public at that time. Harry O’Brien Community Run/Walk is Approaching!
Saturday, August 27 is the Harry O’Brien Community Run/Walk. The event will start at The Park Ridge Senior Center at 9am for runners and 9:15am walkers. The Fun Run Course is 3 miles flat & fast loop, and the Kids Run & Walk Course is a 1.5 mile loop. Register online: $22 adult registration, $15 18 years and under, & bring the whole family! -Strollers, bicycles, and dogs are welcome- Help raise money to benefit local social service agencies. National Night Out
-8/2/11 Hodges Park National Night Out in Park Ridge
On Tuesday, August 2, the Park Ridge Police Department will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “27th Annual National Night Out” (NNO) crime and drug prevention event. This great event is for the whole family, and will be celebrated in Park Ridge at Hodges Park from 6:30pm-9:00pm. There will be free giveaways at this event, and if you have materials you would like to contribute, please send them to The Park Ridge Police Department no later than 7/27!
