Hopefest events at Maine East High School
Sunday September 11th will mark the tenth anniversary of the World Trade Center/ Pentagon attacks. Three area United Methodist churches, including First UMC Park Ridge, are organizing a day of remembrance, community service, and first responder celebration. Hopefest events at Maine East High School will include a LifeSource blood drive, the Advocate Lutheran General KIDS Fair, CPR training sessions, a food pantry collection, and Salvation Army disaster relief information. Park Ridge Youth Campus will host a volunteer clean-up / fix-up work project. For more events, information, and volunteer opportunities, visit www.hopefest.net.
